What about meditation?

I think nowadays everyone’s aware of meditation.


And it’s not surprising since meditation is a priceless tool that lets us change our minds. When we meditate, the brain frequencies change, we start to feel better and experience the healing effect of meditation.



However, you shouldn’t forget that apart from being concentrated, feeling love and joy, you might face your fears, anxiety, pain. As soon as you decide to stand up to them instead of escaping, look into their face and stay present, you will begin your transformation.


This is how we explore ourselves. You might notice forgotten feelings, memories and you have to be prepared for it. That is why I always recommend starting with just 5 minutes of meditation and not to go through vipassana all of a sudden after years of partying hard.


There are a lot of different types of meditation. Among them - dynamic meditations, dance meditations, those which encourage you to cultivate love in yourself, sufi circular movement, raising awareness meditations. Meditation might take place while singing or drawing so it can look very differently from the side.


Then if you feel that sitting still is not something that suits you, don’t jump to the conclusion that meditation is not your thing but give a chance to another type of meditation instead. What if your mind just needs other conditions?


First we learn to concentrate - dharana. You can focus on your breath, some object or the energy flow in your body.

Try to check whether you can concentrate on one thing for 5 mins in a row. If you get distracted and notice that your mind starts to wander, just bring yourself back to concentration.


And after such practice your meditation process will blossom.


P.s. while being keen on meditation and floating on energies it is still important not to forget that we still live on the Earth. Bring the results of your practice to your daily life.🙌
